Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you fish?

We will be fishing at the renowned Buoy 10 where the Columbia converges with the Pacific Ocean. This expansive estuary encompasses more than 40 square miles and we explore its entirety for fishing opportunities! There is plenty to see as this fishery is teaming with sea life including seals, sealions and on occasion whales and porpoises!

What do you fish for?

Our primary target is Chinook (King) salmon and Coho (silver) salmon. You also may take in a bit of sightseeing as we fish since it isn’t uncommon to see sealions, whales, and dolphins!

How long are the trips?

Full day trips are scheduled for 8 hours, but we are happy to tailor to our the clients needs. Start times will vary depending on the tides of the day.

What should I bring?

Please remember to bring your raingear, including pants and a jacket regardless of the weather forecast. A fishing license is a must – either on your phone or a paper copy. Additionally, feel free to bring your preferred food and beverages. I suggest having a cooler in your vehicle to transfer your catch home.
